 The CS 88 & CS 89 underpinners have been specially designed for joining wooden frames in all profiles and benefits from our expertise in underpinners, which have gained for CASSESE a worldwide reputation. Technically they combine  the  best  qualities  of our  most sophisticated models. Although  manufactured  to the  highest standards, their  price remains very competitive.

Frames  can  be  handled immediately  after  joining due  to the mechanical  strength of the joint that generally avoids the use of glue.

The CS 88 & CS 89 use the wedges made by Cassese, originators of this frame joining system. They are in colour-coded cartridges  for  quick and  easy identification  of size. No need  to change any parts on the machine when changing the wedge size in use.

Pedal position can be changed for working from back or front of the machine. Changing from one profile to another is quick and simple, making it specially suitable for custom framing.

The pneumatic double-function pedal (CS89) permits the user to clamp first  the mouldings and then, to insert the wedges.

I ) Cartridge of wedges. High quality wedges are available in 7  different sizes, and supplied in cartridges for easy changing.

E) The horizontal clamp presses the mouldings together to ensure perfect alignment of the mitres before and during joining.

F-G) The 90° fences are self-adjusting (patented) and adaptable to any moulding profile

H) Quick change pressor head for hard wood / soft wood.

P1 - P2) On large mouldings, wedges can be inserted in two different positions  and in each position,  several wedges can be stacked, even in hard woods.
