NEW : Thanks to its new, pressure-sensitive controller of wedge insertion system, the CS 486 XL never misses any wedge in a corner and always uses 100 % of the wedges in a cartridge.

ALL PROFILES : The new CS 486 XL is very flexible ; it can join all mouldings and finishes, adapting itself from a simple photo frame to a large moulding in a few seconds. The wedges can be inserted in 5 different areas across the corner and up to 3 wedges can be stacked in each position.

PERFECT CORNERS : Whatever your production level, the CS 486 XL makes no concession on quality.


	FAST : It can work in MANual & AUTOmatic mode. The command board of the new CS 486 XL allows the selection up to 5 positions (areas) to insert wedges and the quantity for each of them; up to 3 wedges can be stacked in each position. In more, several indicator lights (V) on the command board serve as help for maintenance and trouble-shooting.

EASY AND USER-FRIENDLY : No pressure adjustment required for top presser when changing from soft to hardwoods No adjustment required when changing from small to tall mouldings within up to 50 mm (2") difference of height.
The CS 486 XL uses the wedges made by Cassese, originators of this frame joining system. They are in colour-coled cartridges for quick and easy identification of size. No need to change any parts on the machine when changing the wedge size in use.
Wedges are highly technical products; all other wedges on the market will not work in the CS 486 XL. Use original Cassese cartridges to avoid technical problems and badly joint corners, thus making your Cassese 486 XL serve you satisfactorily for years.


A )Assembly angle is adjustable (+/- 90°) to prevent any gap to inside or outside of corner.
B) During the whole joining process, the mouldings remain perfectly clamped. If wedges are to be inserted in several positions (areas) across the corner, the mouldings remain immobile, only the wedge distribution (B) system will move.
C ) Adjustable fences (+/-90°) take the form of all kinds of mouldings at their back to prevent gaps on top or at bottom of assembly.
D) No more worries about chops that do not profile well to each other ; the world’s most powerful rebate clamp and its new system that makes the two jaws work together -this is the so-called Ultra system, corners are always perfectly profiled.
E) No risk of mouldings rocking or moving during assembly ; the top presser of CS 486 XL moves with its wedge distribution system together. This way, the machine clamps the mouldings exactly on top of the area where the wedges will be inserted. Therefore no need to adjust the position of top presser.
